Black Forest Porridge

Incredibly healthy and super moist Black Forest dessert for breakfast! Filled with whole grains, antioxidant rich raw cacao powder and cherries, how can it get any better? This recipe is gluten free, vegan and raw!

    120 g buckwheat groats (soaked overnight and rinsed)
    1/4 cup hazelnuts
    1/3 cup cherries, plus more for topping
    1/4 cup raw cacao powder
    1/2 banana
    Soy milk (or milk of choice)
    Sweetener of your choice (optional)

    Toppings ideas: fresh cherries, vegetable whipping cream, yogurt, hazelnut butter, cacao nibs...

    1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
    2. Process until combined and slightly smooth. Slowly add the milk - the amount depends on the density you desire.
    3. Serve in bowls topped with toppings of your choice.
    4. Enjoy!
